Within just four weeks of the tournament, Vivo IPL has seen 411 million viewers tuning in, according to Star India data. This is close to the total tournament reach of last year, which stood at 414 million.
With women and kids accounting for 52% of the tournament’s viewership this season, IPL 2019 continues to be the most popular across all viewer sets.
Compared to last year, IPL’s female viewership in the first four weeks of the tournament has recorded a 15% increase. Average impressions for women have swelled from 8.8 million per match in 2018 to 10.1 million this year.
