While the digital ecosystem is booming at a dramatic rate, so are ad frauds. The fraudsters target advertisers to receive higher amount of money from them.The ecosystem is aware about this serious bleeding but is not doing enough to stop it.

According to a market research firm TechARC, India accounted for around 9% to world’s digital ad frauds in 2018, which is $1.63 billion.

While there are few known kinds of ad frauds like app installs, registrations, sales leads, page visits, fake activations, Dhiraj Gupta, CTO/Co-founder, mFilterit, told AdAge India what the wider definition of ad frauds truly is and why it should expand in our country.
