Sunder Madakshira is Head of Marketing of Adobe in India and a research Consultant. In his current role at Adobe he drives all aspects of marketing for India. Sunder has held leadership roles for over 20 years in Sales and Marketing functions in SAP, WIPRO, Hindustan Unilever and VISA.
He has researched on the performance and authored case studies on success stories of companies and brands. He has worked with companies such as Ford India, Maruti Suzuki, Airtel and Flipkart to help them document and analyses their performance and course-correct for future business horizons.
He is a recognized speaker in industry forums such as ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM and CII. He is the member of the NASSCOM panel on MARCOM and heads the subgroup on “Making Marcom a Strategic Function”. His views on marketing have been quoted by leading India publications such as Times of India, The Economic Times and The Hindu Business Line.
Sunder shares his expertise in Marketing with B–school students in India and abroad. Notably at the IIM’s in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore and Kozhikode and S P Jain Institute, Mumbai. Internationally, he has spoken at Columbia Business School, New York and The Stanford Business School, California. He has been teaching at Indira since 2002.
He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, and Graduate Degree in Engineering from the Bangalore University finishing top of his class. He has completed his executive research with the Harvard Business School in 2007.
