Arif Patel, Vice President Sales, Marketing, Distribution & Loyalty at Accor Hotels
Arif Patel, joined Accor Hotels as Vice President Sales, Marketing and Distribution in January 2016. He leads the sales, marketing and distribution for Accor Hotels in India and provides marketing leadership for its nine brands operating across a fast-growing network in the country.
He has over two decades of experience in hotels of repute, with a proven track record of streamlining operations in room divisions and strategic sales and marketing. His areas of responsibility include sales & marketing oversight for all current and upcoming hotels (per-openings) given Accor Hotels’ growing development pipeline, revenue & distribution management, owner relationships and loyalty management with LeClub Accor Hotels, the industry’s leading and award- winning guest loyalty programme.
Arif has worked with eminent brands like Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Starwood across various commercial & operational roles. Before Accor Hotels, Arif was the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, South Asia for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. As a proven industry leader, Arif brings strong experience in sales, revenue, digital & social media and in branding & strategic partnerships.
A frequent speaker at hospitality and sales & marketing conferences, Arif is passionate about mentoring future industry leaders, learning & development for the industry at large, developing best practices and working to promote the industry at a policy and regulatory level. He is also a founding board members of Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) India.
Arif is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Ahmadabad. When not at work, Arif enjoys traveling and exploring new and untouched locations.
